The irony is, we were not able to eat at this place as it was usually fully booked.

But due to this pandemic, we just walked in today. 

The star of the show. Their popcorn is really good for a hotpot place. 

Choose your soup. 

Not to say their food is not good, but not to say very good.

I just felt the material they use is fresh.

But the main highlight of this place is it's customer service.

They really make you feel like super VIPs. 

Then the price is worth it. 

Charm Thai

Forgotten to take pic of the shop hehe. 

Owh the tomyam soup is awesome. 

Really sour and spicy. 

And generous portion of prawns too. (4, to be exact)

Special sauce pork skewer. Quite nice too.

Rempah

Heard it's the same boss with "When Francis Meet Rempah", Fort Cornwallis.

Baba Nyonya cuisine. 

We booked the whole place.... Not. 

It was during CMCO and Friday afternoon, that's why nobody here. 

The menu is in Hokkien. 

Buah keluak chicken. 

I dunno what is buah keluak. Apparently it procudes a poisonous fruit that is made edible from fermentation. 

Basically it's safe to eat. That's why I can blog here. 

Right?

Peng hu. Owh the sauce is awesome. 

Dessert. 

Overall, it's a nice Baba Nyonya cuisine place. 

I remember "When Francis Meet Rempah" being expensive. This one is okay. 

Have a Seat Cafe

Very nice interiors. 

Milk tea. 

Fried calamari rings. 

Aglio oglio spaghetti. 

Aglio oglio Grilled chicken.

Overall, food wise, is so-so. 

Nice place to come during Friday night or weekends to hang out though. 

Black Door @ Bayan

Menu seems limited. Your standard chicken, fish, spaghetti and burger. 

Seafod spaghetti.

Grilled chicken. 

Ah but this is nice. Lava cake. 

Boom explosion. 

New Hokkien Mee @ Jalan Nagor Penang

Hmmm, not sure how to say it's name. Newly opened. 

Aunty Choon Hokkien mee? Maybe. 

RM 14.50 for one full bowl set with prawns, meatballs and siew yok. 

Alternatively, you can also order ala carte and add on sides. 

You can add your own sauces.

Quite nice actually.

All kinds of dessert. 

Human dessert. Yum. 

Ah, this is cute. But taste wise, just single chocolate taste. 

Next time, we will try the mango bingsu and compare it with the Karpal Singh aunty bingsu.

Unfortunately, she is no longer there :(
